ok. scrabble was kool.
well, we arrived at downtown east and went to that giant tent thingy (yo dudes i dunno wad its called). we registered and got our pairings by having the leader (sdt) to draw lots to find out which table we are at.
For the first round we (as in Team 2 : Ying Tong, Me , Ying Bi, Synth-di, and Ying bI) were placed at table 18, paired up with St Hilda's Team 1. I was against an old friend, Ngew Ling Wei. All were from GEP excpet for a p5 girl. well, the boys had to freak us out by telling us that team 1 was the best team and my opponent was the best player, causing the girls to have a stomach ache for about 5 minutes waiting for the darned 1st round to start.
Well, the game was ok. I was rather relieved to see that My opponent's words were simple and not really scoring that high, ecept for an occasional streak of luck that caused her to win in the end... well, as for me i was playing continuously well UNTIL the last part. I was continuously leading by 10 points until she had a stroke of luck and won the game... well, it was a team win of 3-2 but with a negative spread (total diffence)... lol.
The other teams did well too, both winning 5-0. darrel's team (darrel, joel, dommynopants, gerald and bao) had a total spread of +1235!!! waa. for the next round we battled darrel's previous opponents, and won 5-0 too... we were at table 1, so i was like almost freaking out as i confused it with chess. for chess table 1 is always the best table, with the best opponent blablabla. well, OUR opponents at tableONE were...well, lao pok. haha. nvm. well, it was a darn spread of 588. sdt got into a row about time, and won. so the opponent not happy and go tag the host asking for blabla. well, she reminds me of tjh during practical. lol
for third round we were against henry park, with me against the best opponent too.. well, I was very frustrated cos my opponent challenged ZO, which is darned accepted, and it turned out not to be... I COULD HAVE WON!!! nvm. anyway, team win of 4-1, spread of bout... 4sumtingsumting.
4th round. against some school. we won again with a 5-0. I nearly won, thanks to the fact that my opponent did not memorise his three-letter words and therefore didn't challenge QUE, which was put on a triple word. LOL. well, poor team 3 (darrel's team.) they kns by this gan eng seng team and they kenna trashed 1-4. if not for that they would be the darned first... never mind... i love u all, except for the pantless dom, o'course.
well, while waiting for the results to come out we passed the time watching two apparently finalist sec schools (northbrooke and pasir ris) play scrabble. frankly speaking, their scrabble sucked. sucked. like hell. they can waste an 'f' to put 'a' on a triple letter (ps 'a' is only worth one point and 'f' 4). louis was like: even johan's scrabble s better than both of theirs combined. well, that i agree. =)) well, northbrooke won, cos pasir ris was trying to get rid of their last letter and put a very silly thing called mc. like um, no short forms allowed?!?! so kenna callenged. then nb pt second last tile and then pr put co and oc. gosh. kenna challenged again, so had to take back. then nb put last tile and won. well, they got 461, darned high but 100% cos their opponent open up all the valuable slots for them. lol.
well, those freakish boys: jc and tim ling had to tell u that we were in plate category. imagine how disappointed we were when our names were not called out in the plate category. so we waited for the cup. ok, 4got to tell that bow is wprst cat., followed by plate and cup. merit for cup not called. darned anxious. suddenly the guy said: "well, for the moment we all have been waiting for. who do you think is the third place winner? (silence) team 2... which school wa it again? (we brightened up. we were team 2 of tns) OF TAO NAN!!!" so we all bu yue er tong scream in our (in)famous girly scream and collected our prize. m.wee had to go up twice cos tns got double glory: team 2 third and team 1 second. lol. she had not enough hands to carry all the gifts. well, the poor boys of team 3 very upset... nvm. you were briliante too.
that's all. well, on the way back timling and louis were fighting on the bus. tim ling kicked loui and louis caught the leg. they were sitting on opposite sides of the bus, of course. then louis caught the other leg then tim lost blanced and with a slightly girly shriek fell onto the floor flailing his arms... lol. XD and synth-di was pronounced a boneless creature.

Mrs Wee gave back our El mock paper today. well, I definitely can't say that i fared very well... i got only a pitiful 51/60, losing over 5 marks to careless mistakes. There was this new guy today who looked like KYC's cousin, and whose name is Mr Toh. He is replacing Mrs Wee.
BUT... worse of all we have to sign on every single bingle lemon-squeezable page of our mock paper, and you can be sure that i am gonna get a earful for my carelessness. AND we have to memorise a whole hundred words for spelling tmrw. i wonder how mr lohgohsohkohtoh will be like. bb =)=)
oh ya. Cheryl is the new monitress, together with tjh. many tried to sabo tim lung but in vain...

that was the bestest show of the year... so cuuute... ok excuse me. well, good things dont come together - i have this three inch long cut on my right thigh cos i went diving yesterday...
well, prince caspian is really a show i would recommend!

argh... i just cant take my eyes off this pic once i found it on the FIRST magazin in the article on prince caspian. sigh... he is 16 yrs old and oh-so cute... i was looking at his pic thru the night yest when i played scrabble...
so crazy over him that this morning i surfed the net to find his pic... and ah... here it is... so cuuuuuuuuute. makes me look forward so much to Prince Caspian... i have been pestering my parents to bring me to watch it all thru the day and am gonna watch it today. and soon, his pic will be up on my bedroom wall. but only that pic. he looks *horrible* in the others......
PS I do not like the 6I monitor. not anymore. someone else now...

haiz... i dunno why but i have been sticking my head into my books ever since i started these freaking holidays... i miss all of you... (except chen lao shi of course). oh ya... talking about chinese... ****ake mushroom! heck, i forgot to bring back my chinese zuowen file and we have to hand it up on monday... and chinese is the first period... well, that's me. the scatterbrained me.
i really really miss school. the prefect workshop on public speaking was.................. to think that our group, which includes 3 debaters, lost a debate?!?! (fyi we were supposed to do a debate speech during that workshop. like a mini debate but no POIs, no rebuttals, no FUN?!?!) we lost.... i tink that teahcer showed favouritism.... NOT FAIR! just only because that team was all girls but their content really was rather........ not to say our content was the best but at least i personally think ours was better. and they got the prize....... oh ya... our 'debate team' consisted of (top three are/were debaters):
